Established in 2012, Sushant University (formerly known as Ansal University) Gurgaon is a private University that came into existence under the Haryana Private Universities Act 2006. Sushant University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for technical programmes, the Bar Council of India (BCI) for all the Law programmes, the Council of Architecture (CoA) for Architecture and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) for Pharmacy-related courses.

Sushant University has received ‘National Education Excellence Award 2017’ and two consecutive ‘CSR Excellence in Education Award 2017 & 2018’ for being the best private university in northern India.
