What is CUCET?

CUCET is a University-level entrance test conducted online by Chandigarh University(CU). The exam is mandatory for admission to different undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the university in streams like engineering and management. CU’s Common Entrance Test also offers scholarships for all its Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs.

CUCET 2025 Application Form

Candidates can now access the CUCET 2025 application form for Phase 2 until October 15, 2025. While filling out the application form of CUCET 2025, the candidates are required to provide valid personal, academic and contact details. All of the submitted details have to be valid and as per the candidates' documents. The candidates also have to pay INR 1,000 as the application fee for CUCET 2025. Candidates are also able to purchase the offline CUCET 2025 application form from university admission offices/authorised centres by paying the application fee.

CUCET Chandigarh University 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates aspiring for admission to Chandigarh University are required to fulfil all the eligibility conditions before filling the CUCET application form. The prescribed eligibility for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses is as follows:

Eligibility for UG courses:

  • Candidates must have secured 50 per cent or more marks in their secondary Education (10+2) from a recognised Board (CBSE/PSEB/ICSE or any other recognised State/National Board).
  • Students appearing for secondary education (10+2) in 2024 are also eligible to apply for the CUCET.

Eligibility for PG courses:

  • For admission to postgraduate (PG) courses, the students should have scored 50 per cent or more marks in their graduation.

Candidates must have passed their graduation from a UGC recognised University.

CUCET 2026 Syllabus

The official CUCET 2026 syllabus is now available. Candidates can check the subjects and topics that have to be studied for the entrance examination. The subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates are advised to know the syllabus before preparing for the examination. By being familiar with the CUCET 2026 syllabus, the candidates will be able to be well-prepared for the examination as they will have the knowledge of the topics that will be used to prepare the question paper.
